Job Description

The Company & Role:An exciting opportunity has come about to join an exciting local company looking to recruit a Senior Network Technician.Coming off the back of a strong period this role is a key position within the company.The purpose of the role is too provide technical assistance to our clients customer base as well as supporting other lines of business.Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer expectations
  • Caseload & Time management
  • Support Colleagues
  • Managing complex cases
  • Obtaining and Maintaining professional certifications
  • Supporting Management team
  • Working under pressure
Key Requirements:
  • An In-Depth Working Knowledge of Network Routing Protocols, i.e. OSPF & BGP
  • Proficient in Deploying and Maintaining Cisco Perimeter Security Appliances, i.e. ASA, FTD
  • A proven track record working troubleshooting LAN, WAN & Internet Technologies
  • An Understanding of Network Address Translation (NAT) and How to Configure in Different Environments
  • A proven track record of Installing, Maintaining and Troubleshooting Network Technologies, including but not limited Cisco and Cisco Meraki
  • Competent with Working With Switching Technologies, such as VLANS, LACP and DHCP Snooping for example
  • Hold an Active Certification CCNP or Higher.
Desirable
  • Two or more years working in a senior position within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Experience with security products such as Cisco Umbrella, uSecure, Cisco Duo, Email Security
