Job Description

The Company MTrec are currently recruiting for a construction company in the Newcastle area, and we are looking for scaffold labourers with a willing attitude. This position will be lead to a permanent contract after a successful trial period. The Role

  • Will be involved in daily production meetings with shift supervisors, due to complex nature of the role will be given specific tasks that are required to be completed on a daily basis
  • Working on both new build and renovation projects
  • Assisting the site scaffolders to load and unload the wagon
  • Installation of scaffolding required for the project
  • Working from instruction of the lead scaffolder to make sure the scaffold was installed to requirement
  • Keeps equipment operating by following instructions
  • Troubleshooting breakdowns and performing preventive maintenance
  • Following standard operation protocols, and maintaining rigorous health and safety standards
  • Maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times
    • The Person
  • Should have labouring experience, but full training will be given
  • A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
  • Good reliability, and good attendance is critical in the position, due to the products which are being manufacturing are for a key company
  • Comfortable with completing a company induction, and following and a standard company hand book
  • Must have a CSCS white card, and or scaffolding qualifications
