Job Description

Sales Development ExecutiveSalary: Up to £25,000 with realistic £5,000 - £10,000 OTELocation: Remote-based (Newcastle HQ)My client is a market-leading technology business who operate in the IT/data sector. To help them executive their ambitious growth plans, an opportunity exists to join this business in a Sales Development Executive role.The Role

  • Follow up sales leads generated internally and self-source sales leads for new business and to ensure new sales targets are achieved
  • Understand and promote the benefits of their product portfolio to prospective customers and to ultimately secure the sale
  • Secure online appointments with prospective customers
  • Consultatively build relationships with prospects
  • Uncover prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities
  • Efficiently and effectively process assigned opportunities into new business sales
  • Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects
  • Research and build new and existing prospect accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, appointment setting)
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to secure new business meetings
  • The Person
  • A minimum of 1 years’ sales experience ideally in a B2B setting
  • Experience of using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology
  • Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers and colleagues
  • Excellent telephone and online presentation skills
  • Strong desire to be part of a team that delivers customers breakthrough results
