Job Description

Were Norton Rose Fulbright - a global law firm with over 50 offices and 7,000 employees worldwide.Our Newcastle Hub is currently recruiting for a RPA Service Lead on a 12 month fixed term contract . We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view and believe diversity drives innovation, so were building a culture where difference is valued.Reporting to the EMEA Systems Manager, the role will help to establish an RPA function across the region. The role will help build and deliver a strategy to implement, shape, and resource the function and establish policy, process and procedures. The Service Lead will work with senior stakeholders throughout the business and collaborate with colleagues in other regions across the Global group. Experience with RPA technologies and strong problem solving and a pragmatic approach are essential.The Role

  • Help guide the creation of an RPA function: from supplier pilot phase into operational service.
  • Perform SME role with chosen supplier (Automation Anywhere) throughout a pilot to leverage automation capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Transformation lead to maintain a product backlog of automation candidates and adopt an improve then automate approach.
  • Help establish a dedicated unit responsible for delivering RPA throughout the business and practice areas.
  • Lead the development of bots from requirements into operational service; turn as-is processes into RPA solutions.
  • Responsibility over the maintenance of bot library stores with an emphasis on reuse where possible.
  • Quality assure solutions as robots move from development into test and live.
  • Creation of all appropriate documentation in line with required standards.
  • Monitor and report on system performance.
    • Skills and Experience Required
  • Solid experience of RPA architecture and infrastructure.
  • Must have demonstrable experience designing and building RPA bots.
  • Previously had operational responsibility for live bot management, including monitoring and reporting.
  • Business stakeholder management with appropriate communication style.
  • Must have proven design expertise coupled with persuasive negotiating skills.
  • Team leadership
  • Previously mentored others and delivered training.
  • Capable of leveraging Process Mining techniques.
  • Experienced in source control and release management principles.
  • Experience of unattended robot usage with an awareness of attended robot usage.
  • Experience of Automation Anywhere is advantageous.
  • Experience of UIPath (Desirable)
  • Legal sector experience (Desirable)
  • Finance process awareness (Desirable)
