The Health Research Authority (HRA) is expanding its digital team and want to recruit an experienced Exit Manager who will be part of a highly successful team working within the Research Systems Programme (RSP) at the HRA. The role is an important part of the Programme and will ensure the safe exit and transition from the existing contractual arrangements for Information System (IS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) services to the HRA’s Pega platform.Applicants should have previous experience of successfully developing, planning and managing exit and transition strategies from existing legacy IT systems, including the contractual / commercial aspects related to the exit / transition.The Exit Manager will develop a clear understanding of the existing systems and infrastructure in terms of people, processes and particularly technology in order to manage the exit from the current service provision. Additionally, the candidate will have an awareness of the contractual issues surrounding the exit process.The Exit Manager will work with both the IS and IaaS suppliers and the RSP and wider HRA to develop an exit and transition strategy from the legacy systems.
