Job Description

Were looking for a brilliant sales individual to join City Plumbing as a Regional Spares Manager and help develop the business!We have just become a standalone business, so this is a phenomenal opportunity to take over an already successful territory and help support our Regional teams develop the Spares category through our branch networks across the North-East and Scotland.The Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team and help develop business within our Plumbing and Heating Spares Division.Your role will involve managing the development of the profitable spares category sales across an agreed customer base, including both managed accounts and branch networks across a number of geographical regions.Areas of focus will include:

  • Maximise all sales opportunities by supporting our brand strategy through the regional sales network and the branch spares team.
  • Prospect for potential new clients and develop working relationships with key decision-makers within our current client base.
  • Maintaining key growth areas in Managed, Social Housing and Branch managed customer accounts.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders and sales teams across all brands making sure all relevant information is shared and reported on..
  • Provide the required level of support to Regional Operational and Sales Managers to help land key operational and business changes providing business updates and regional performance vs. key performance indicators.
This is a remote-based role within the north of England or Scotland, with optional minimal travel to a satellite office. You could be based in the North-East of Newcastle, or up in Scotlands largest city, Glasgow. It is your ability to cover North-Eastand Scotland regions which is the most important.This means you could be from areas such as Blackburn, Burnley, Carlisle, Darlington, Dumfries, Durham, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Harrogate, Hull, Kilmarnock, Middlesborough, Newcastle upon Tyne, Scarborough, Stirling, Sunderland.You:Youll live and breathe our Customer First ethos, with an innovative and agile approach to problem-solving. Youll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider Sales team and youll be committed to acting with integrity and honesty in everything you do.Required skills and competencies:
  • Previous experience within the merchanting sector and the ability to transfer skills to the Spare Parts market.
  • Strong background in Account Management, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Proven influence and negotiation skills.
  • Adaptable and willing to overcome challenges.
  • Plumbing, Heating, and Spare Parts knowledge are beneficial.
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Sales, Telesales, Consultative Sales, Business Development, Regional Sales, Territory Sales, Account Management,Key Account Management, Building, Building Products.
