Part of the Central Recruitment Team, they will develop robust working relationships with hiring managers utilizing their skills and knowledge to deliver a first class recruitmentpartnering experience to all stakeholders.Working closely with People Services teams, the Recruitment Lead will develop a deep understanding of their business area and provide strategic advice and initiatives to drive forward our recruitment offering, putting our customers at the heart of everythingwe do.Supporting the delivery of annual recruitment plans, they will lead on the implementation of candidate attraction and engagement initiatives at an operational level. The successful candidate will engage and collaborate with a wide range of hiring managersto identify key areas of activity to optimise and develop our service for both our colleagues and candidates.This post is fixed term for a period of 2 years.For informal enquiries, please contact Chris StanleyKey Accountabilities Collaborate and partner with our hiring manager population on a regular basis to understand their resourcing needs and translate to operational recruitment plans. Work closley with local administration teams to ensure our recruitment system is being utilised to its potential and timley campaignes uploaded and actioned. Partner with stakeholders to scope and design compelling adverts and work with hiring managers to develop accompanying Job Descriptions and Person Specifications Ensure the availability of support and advice for hiring managers and stakeholders, developing a consistent and credible personal brand. Work closley with the central and faculty administration teams to ensure timley processing of recruitment documents, in line with SLAs outlined by People Services Facilitate a variety of training sessions covering key areas of recruitment, empowering and transfering knowledge to our wider colleagues. Provide insight into recruitment data and metrics to support key future recruitment decisions Translate and present monthly recruitment progress to wider senior teams Work on and own specific recruitment projects related to wider recruitment innicitives Support with design and delivery of end-to-end inclusive attraction, selection and candidate management activites to ensure the University is set up to successfully recruit the right people with the right skillsets when they are needed. Evaluate and develop up to date and progressive routes to market to attract the best talent in a compeditive and fast changing recruitment landscape. Develop and define highly effective direct sourcing models specific to your business area in partnership with our hiring units Understand and implement best practice by utilising networks and external relationships to ensure we are at the forefront of industry developments Track recruitment spend in faculty or unit to ensure best return on investment, give insights and share findings with Recruitment Management team Work collaborativley with Hiring Managers to develop and map candidate ladscapes and make direct approaches to widen and ecourage quality applications for hard to recruit areas. Develop and lead on Social Media campaigns in line with current live vacancies, encouraging colleagues to post and share appropriate content to maximise reach Attend relevant careers fairs, developing a pipeline and network of candidates for your specific area. Ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion in our recruitment campaigns are fully aligned to with our University Values and Guiding PrincipalsThe PersonKnowledge, Skills and Experience Demonstrable track record as a recruiter Experience of supporting hiring managers in all aspects of the recruitment end to end process Proven track record of working in a large/medium sized fast paced, complex organisation. Proven ability to create great experiences for candidates. Proven track record on innovation; you keep yourself up to date on trends in the wider recruiting world Knowledge of resourcing systems, HR processes and tools. Employer brand development and recruitment marketing knowledge. Broad knowledge of selection and assessment methodologies.Desirable Experience as an executive recruiter would be an advantage. Experience in coaching and training hiring managers in the field of recruitmentAttributes and Behaviours Promotes and actively drives change within own area and across the organisation. Excellent communicator, at all levels, in both verbal and written forms.
