This is an opportunityto join a large organisation who specialise in large scale commercial projects. This company are well established and are market leaders. Operating across several sectors including education, commercial, retail and hospitality this opportunity would certainlyoffer plenty of scope for variance. The company mainly focus on commercial build along with refurbishment and fit out.Im looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. You could be a graduate with a few years of experience with a regional contractor looking for an opportunity to join a market leader in construction, or you could already work for a tier 1 and fancy a changeWhats important is being able to demonstrate experience of managing commercial packages on large scale commercial build projects.Key Responsibilities * Preparing bills of quantities and re-measure works* Procurement of sub-contractors* Managing costs on a wide variety of projects* Cost value analysis including cost value reporting* Price up variations* Valuing works as they progress and agreeing final accounts* Compiling project budgets* Identify and support the management of project risks and opportunities* Provide commercial advice to the site team as and when required* Develop awareness of the different building contracts in current use* Preparing and analysing costings for tenders* Preparation of contractual claimsYou will need a full driving license as the role will be project based.The salary on offer is market leading dependant on candidate experience along with generous company car or car allowance.
