Job Description

REED Engineering are working closely with a well established manufacturing businesswho are seeking to employ an experienced Production Scheduler to join theirteam in Newcastle. The successful candidate willplay a pivotal role in communicatingwith differentdepartments, such as production, sales, and purchasing, to ensure that everyone is working in sync towards meeting production goals.You will play a key role in helping the businessmaintain high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create production reports and analyse data to ensure that production targets are being met.
  • Work with the sales office to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Liaise with the sales office to review procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with the production team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure that all production schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Review and update production procedures as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in a productionor a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
