Job Description

PRODUCT MANAGERREMOTE£45,000MONDAY - FRIDAYWere looking for a Product Manager to join a friendly team with offices in the North East (remote working is offered). Their busy platform is scaling, and they require someone who will take ownership of all aspects of product from inception, throughresearch, planning and analysis, design, development and launch.BENEFITSThe fantastic team is very welcoming, and you will receive a host of brilliant perks. The company are a market-leader and have strong partnerships with some of the largest householdnames.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Product Manager your key duties will include:

  • Managing product development through improved process
  • Managing the development pipeline using JIRA and the longer-term roadmap via Product Plan or similar software
  • Understanding product KPIs and implementing effective user stories to communicate ideas and execute new features and improvements
  • Providing backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Leading the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Researching and analysing the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Implementing and identifying the latest industry standards and methodologies
  • Defining major and detailed requirements and priorities in collaboration with the assigned team
  • Facilitating collaboration meetings with product managers, architects, UI designers and Analytics, SEO and Engineering teams to aide management, development and delivery of user stories
  • Communicating product roadmaps throughout the business and working closely with the team to ensure all relevant input is received and incorporated into features
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCETo be considered for the role of Product Manager, you must have:
  • Experience and knowledge of software development process
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration techniques
  • Ability to present complex ideas simply
  • Knowledge of the principles of product management
  • Self-starter who can come up to speed quickly on our applications, technologies and processes
