We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is confident working in an agile multi-disciplinary environment and can lead the delivery team to drive the best outcomes for our users.This role is specifically in DWP MI (Management Information) leading work on MI reporting and visualisations across a broad range of business areas.Youll be developing products to help millions of people understand and receive the support that they are entitled to on time.Youll be involved in the whole product lifecycle, working with lead and senior product managers.As part of a multi-disciplinary team with a wide variety of expertise and a strong peer network, youll be further developing your expert skills in and knowledge of product management techniques.Youll also be involved in transforming the user journey and streamlining processes, shaping a more effective, efficient and tailored experience for our customers and colleagues.Its an amazing opportunity to leave a Product legacy across the whole of the public sector.What skills and experience do you need to show us

  • You have experience managing a product through discovery, alpha, beta and live states
  • Awareness of Agile tools such as agile and lean practices and implements them intelligently. Able to visualise and make visible the work of the team.
  • You know how to put users first as part of a commitment to user-centred design and know how to achieve this amongst competing priorities.
  • You know how to challenge the status quo to ensure the delivery of a successful end-to-end service.
  • You know how to define a minimum viable product and make decisions about priorities.
