Job Description

Print Production ManagerDo you have experience managing a small team of printersHave you got experience in Flexo printingCan you work effectively in a fast paced companySearch are proud to be working with an innovative company on their search for a Print Production Manager. This role is a permanent opportunity. Monday to Friday day shift.Your primary purpose of the role is to improve efficiency and productivity of the print department.Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of printers
  • Running multi-colour flexo presses
  • Producing high quality labels and packaging with a variety of finishes
  • Ensuring that the area, equipment, and machinery are kept clean and tidy
  • Troubleshooting issues with the printing press or print quality
  • Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies relating to your work area are always adhered to by you
  • Carry out basic maintenance in accordance with standard procedures
Experience
  • Previous production management experience
  • Experience of embellishments such as rotary screen, hot foil, cold foil, and embossing
  • Experience of Nilpeter Servo Press, Mark Andy, MPS or similar
  • Responsibility for quality, efficiency and good housekeeping
  • Able to trouble shoot to solve issues with machinery or print quality
