Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our client’s Corporate Communications and Reputation Management team to help to build and develop our client’s reputation, both externally and internally, through integrated PR campaigns and activity.This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for approximately 13 months.Job Specifications

  • You will support the development of a consistent and impactful narrative around the business story, making it simple, understandable, and relevant to key audience groups.
  • You will support communications and PR management in response to issues, incidents or crises. This includes being part of an on-call rota.
  • Preparing press releases and statements; drafting project briefs and communication plans; developing content for print and digital channels for a full range of audiences.
  • Copywriting; editing; proofing; managing photography and film shoots; and editing photography and film footage.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels is vital.
  • About you:
  • Experience of working in a communications, PR or journalist role including dealing with media (online and broadcast).
  • Experience in managing internal and external PR around potential issues/crises (including media).
  • Experience in developing and delivering complex, multi-channel communications plans.
  • Experience in planning and organising the activities of self and/or others.
  • Experience in using a range of communications platforms, tools and technologies including email and e-newsletters; all forms of social media; and websites (using content management systems).
