Job Description

Role: Portfolio Manager (Governance and Assurance Analyst)Contracting Authority: DWPContract Length: 6 monthsLocation: Majority of the team are in Newcastle so ideally there but there are hubs in Sheffield and Leeds which could be an option.IR35: InsidePay Rate: £500 - £600 (Inside IR35)Minimum Requirement1 . Operating and setting up governance and assurance frameworks2. Operated at a strategic level3. Using analytical skillsExperience required:

  • Leading appropriate governance procedures.
  • Analysing multiple information sources, producing reports appropriate for senior audiences, including making recommendations for changes.
  • Benefit realisation and quality management, with experience of reviewing factors which impacted final outcomes.
  • Identifying and responding to issues with appropriate methods to unblock and resolve.
  • Managing risks at the board level.
  • Working in a project management role covering the full project lifecycle(either Waterfall or Agile delivery method).
  • Managing stakeholders, including presenting and reporting at senior level.
