They believe strongly in independence for its businesses, and that responsibility means they need great people who are ready to make a differenceat a company leveland throughout the world.This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to start their career in Supply Chain!The Role:Reporting directly to the Customer Experience Manager and playing a key role within a growing team, the key focus areas for this role will be: Managing the delivery of outgoing goods to customers across the UK and internationally Liaison with and management of freight forwarders and logistics partners to ensure delivery targets are met Management of relevant export paperwork, ensuring all regulations are met and the logistics partners are compliant Providing prudent, relevant, effective communication both internally and externally when problems arise Ensuring the fulfilment of orders is to standard, applying OTIF and right first-time principles Communicating with the customer to agree the logistics of their delivery as required Informing Customer Services/relevant parties if orders are likely to be delayedagree who will contact the customer to make alternative arrangements Making sure that the stores team have the key information they need to perform to the best of their ability Embrace all aspects of automation, where doing so allows you to offer a more effective service offer Ensure the ERP system is kept up to date with accurate information at all times, working with the CRM when this comes onlineThe Person:We are looking for a stand out candidate with a great mindset and the aptitude and willingness to grow within the role.As well as a great personality we are also looking for the following skills and attributes:A great team player who works well both alone and with others A high attention to detail and can deliver accurate, timely responses Works efficiently and accurately, with a focus on great customer serviceHighly organised and passionate about what you doConfident in using IT systems
