Were looking for a highly skilled and talented Mid-Senior UX Designer to work for our client, helping shape the future of their digital products.They want to recruit someone with detailed knowledge of UX and User-Centred Design practices and the proven ability to use the appropriate methods and tools to create usable and delightful experiences, with an impressive portfolio that demonstrates this.If thats you then you could be exactly what theyre looking for.----The Role:In the UX Designer role youll work on an exciting suite of innovative, greenfield products that will ensure that both digital and physical in-store experiences including kiosk ordering, click and collect and customer loyalty apps work seamlessly and deliver a great customer experience.In the job youll be tasked with…- Working with the rest of the product team to understand the needs of our customers and then subsequently users.- Helping to contribute to the User-Centred Design practices and championing design thinking to help educate and communicate to the wider team as to why design is important.- Repeatedly creating and testing hypotheses in short cycles to incrementally evolve and improve our products.- Designing and collaborating with user research.- Producing wireframes, UX flows, low fidelity mock-ups, interactive prototypes and design specifications.This is a permanent role based at the companys Newcastle Head Office.----The Candidate:- Exceptional UI design skills (including interaction design) demonstrated with a strong portfolio- A keen eye for detail - youre a bit of a pixel perfectionist- Skilled in the use of various software tools, such as Adobe CC, Sketch InVision, etc- Experience designing for desktop, tablet and mobile as well as for cross platform apps (iOS and Android)- Good understanding of User-Centred Design practices- Experience working with developers on the design/developer handoff- Experience communicating design decisions to designer as well as the wider team including stakeholders- Experience working with UX designers to integrate research and insight findings to inform design decisions ----The Package:Basic salary: Up to £45,000 per annum for the ideal candidateAdditional benefits include:- Generous employee discount- Management bonus scheme, profit share scheme, pension and free life assurance- Private medical insurance, permanent health insurance, plus much more----The Company:The business youll be working for is the UKs leading and best known food on the go retailer.Theyre a company that people want to work for because they are a much loved and trusted brand with a strong traditional bakery heritage and provide their people with a great place to work, where they feel valued by listening, developing and rewarding them.----Interested If you think youre right for this UX Designer role, then click the Apply Now button, send us your CV and well consider you for the first round of interviews.
