Job Description

My client based in Newcastle upon Tyne are recuriting for a Merchandising and E-commerce assistant to join their team. Key Deliverables Purchasing and Merchandising

  • Familiar with excel formulas and pivot table, able to create sales reports and analysis weekly and monitor planned margins
  • Ensure stock levels are at an optimal level in different countries, propose appropriate actions for delivery delays and short shipments
  • Raise ASNs on Mintsoft for each incoming containers
  • Place orders with the supplier (including the UK and China supplier) and raise purchasing order on Veeqo
  • Communicate efficiently with relevant departments and suppliers to ensure order progress and delivery dates are maintained
  • Raise and update product details in the system, request details from the supplier when required
  • Obtain product information, packaging details, samples, shipping documents from suppliers
  • Follow up with logistics/warehouses regarding shipment/air freight booking
  • Deal with relevant suppliers regarding faulty products and ask for compensation
  • E-commerce
  • Keep track of stock levels on different platforms, update stock levels when necessary
  • Make sure pre-order dates on websites are updated, update the listings when necessary
  • Familiar with Amazon Seller Central, able to fix issues with listings and orders, etc
  • Familiar with eBay Seller Hub, able to fix issues with listings, etc
  • Send products to Amazon FBA from the warehouse and keep track of FBA stock levels
  • Send spare parts to warranty repair center from the warehouse when required
  • Raise orders on Veeqo manually for various platforms (training provided)
  • Check Wayfair Partner Home for orders/warranty claims
  • Follow up with manufacturer/designer regarding product artworks
  • Deal with warehouses from the UK, USA, etc regarding orders daily
  • Technical & Personal Competencies
  • Able to speak Cantonese/Mandarin (preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication and numerical skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Ability to work under pressure and propose appropriate action to address the issue
