Job Description

Legal Cashier - NewcastleAdecco are delighted to be working with Legal client in Newcastle who are seeking a Legal Cashier to join their team on a permanent basis.Salary:25 - 27kDay-to-day duties include:

  • Taking responsibility for the clients financial matters and interests.
  • Consulting with clients, law firms, and businesses on financial concern.
  • Scrutinising large transactions.
  • Assisting in the planning of the clients financial strategies.
  • Recording all transactions in the appropriate manner.
  • Dealing with clients when receiving payments.
  • Keeping track of all banking on a daily basis and managing the accounts system.
  • Dealing with all invoices and ensuring they are paid on time.
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the firms PAYE scheme
Experience required:
  • Good understanding of the accounting system, the banking system, Microsoft Office.
  • Full knowledge, experience and understanding of the SRAs Accounts Rules
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Adaptable, flexible, and mobile
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Ability to spot inefficient processes and working to enhance efficiency by redesigning
