About the Role We’re looking for a Lead Product Owner with a genuine passion for Digital. The Lead Product Owner will take ownership of the Digital product portfolio and be accountable for the products evolution, performance and success measurements.There will be a requirement to lead the team of Product Owners; and drive the creation, ownership and maintenance of compelling insight driven, customer centered product roadmaps which meet end user, business and client requirements. The role will drive continuous improvement and successful iterative change as an output from the Scrum teams. Focusing on enhanced commercial performance and ensuring consistent best practice and approach within the team is key.It is essential there is a strong advocacy of the end user, whilst also understanding the context of the wider business and industry and the client need. The Lead Product Owner and the team will be responsible for the creation, ownership and management of the product backlog - driving the priorities and vision of the various products. Understanding the full product portfolio inside out is essential in the accountability for identifying opportunities, efficiency gain, and risks across the product set. About You The Lead Product Owner will be heavily experienced in best Product Ownership practise within the Digital space, with a desire to challenge and investigate to achieve efficient and effective outcomes whilst actively contributing to the drive of product success.The role requires exceptional organisation and drive a high standard of output for yourself and team, with the ability to be a great people manager; representing and advocating Product Ownership, and owning the Digital Product Portfolio within the organisation.It is key that the Lead Product Owner proactively develops a strong and deep knowledge of the organisation, end users and client base, as well as understanding technical concepts and approach.It’s required that this role ensures clear, well-informed and focused presentation of output to key stakeholders and clients at varying levels with the ability to confidently articulate. Given the nature of the role, it’s essential to develop strong working relationships and gain buy-in to the product vision. Excellent communication is key, with an ability to be self-motivated, with a positive approach to being a team player and advocating these qualities within the Product Owner team.
