Our client is a highly regarded asbestos consultancy providing a wide range of asbestos and environmental services to clients nationwide. Due to recent contract wins, they are now looking to recruit a committed and professional Lead Asbestos Surveyor basedin the Newcastle Upon Tyne area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402 asbestos certificate and will have previous experience carrying out asbestos surveys on a range of site types. Applications from Gateshead, Durham, Darlington, and the surrounding areaswill be considered.Qualifications & Experience:Must hold the P402 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.Experience working in a surveying role within the asbestos industry. Will ideally hold experience in client management, auditing, and training of site staff. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Fully conversant with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.Role:Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial .Producing comprehensive asbestos reports.Training and auditing of site staff.
