Job Description

Our client based in the North East is looking for highly experienced Joiners/Fitters to work on a variety of large and smaller private contracts in and around the Newcastle and Durham area.Job and person specification:

  • Working on domestic properties you will be responsible for fitting high end bespoke furniture including Studies, Hallways, Alcoves, Under Staircase Solutions and Staircases.
  • Working alone on some projects however larger scale projects you will be working within a small team
  • Working towards deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality of work
  • Candidates must have experience of installing high quality fitted furniture or come from a shop fitting background
  • Furniture is already cut to size however you may be asked to work from drawings and use hand tools for alterations
  • Must have a positive, polite, can do attitude and solution orientated mindset are essential
  • Excellent attention to detail is an essential part of the role
  • Must be a good team-player but with the ability to work independently
  • Candidates will be willing to take on responsibility as role progresses
  • Must have a driving licence and preferably own van and tools
  • Associated skills, plastering, plumbing or electrics would be advantageous but is not essential
