Avanti Recruitment are currently working with a global technology company who have offices in the UK, USA and India. They are looking for a fully remote Java Developer due to continual growth within the company, they are looking to add an additional 20% growth by the end of next year. You will be working on 2 main projects, one will be their data and audience facing portal and media technologies. The 2nd project will be replacing a legacy system, they will be looking for someone who has experience with both legacy systems (ideally PHP/JBOSS/Java7) and newer technologies and can help with the conversion to a Java 11, Springboot microservices architecture with deployment into the cloud using containerization and dockerization using Docker/Terraform and AWS.The company are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You will be the type of person who will face the task at hand head on but isn’t afraid to ask questions when needed.Skills required: - AWS Experience - Microservice Architecture experience - Previous experience of transitioning a Legacy system to more modern technologies- Must have worked with CI/CD - Must have experience of working with off-shore teams - You will have experience with TDD/BDDDesirables: - PHP- JBOSS Experience - EKS Cluster experience - Scala experienceThe salary on offer for this position is paying up to £70,000 + Fully remote working + 10% Bonus (increases as you progress) + Healthcare + Life insurance + 25days holiday.If this role is of interest then click Apply Now!
