Our client is a leading retailerThe Role of IT Transformation ManagerThe role will require you to work on one or more IT projects across any one of our businesses across 30 sites in the UK.You will be responsible for helping to deliver our existing technologies across all areas of the business to maximise the efficiency and profitability of all businesses and their respective departments. •In the initial phase, there will be a particular focus on leveraging technology within our warehouse operations to drive operational excellence.• Longer term the role will focus on continual improvement,Become part of the team that seeks out new and emerging technology to continue to drive the business forward for the years to come.• The IT Transformation Project Manager will report to the Head of IT Operations and will work closely with all senior managers.The Candidate for IT Transformation Manager Proven track record of delivering successful IT projects• Strong analytical skills • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel •• An interest in emerging technologies and the ability to challenge the status-quo• Relevant academic education• Good grounding of work experience, knowledge of the wholesale or FMCG sector highly desirable • Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) software essential• Knowledge of SWORDS ERP would be desirable,Please noteNationwide travel as required and a hybrid homeworking/office-based placement (1 to 2 days at Tyneside HQ)
