Job Description

A financial services client have a new opportunity for an experienced IT Support Team Leader to join their team. This is a hybrid working model and you will be based within the Newcastle office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants tojoin a world-renowned financial services organization and be a part of a highly successful business that is leading the delivery of financial services with some of the worlds largest companies.As IT Support Team Leader, duties and essential job responsibilities include:

  • You will work closely with the Support Manager to guarantee the support team delivers against goals and expectations.
  • You will assist in managing the coordination of support activities across the support service team
  • As a Support Team Leader, you will lead by example in the adherence of the companys expected behaviours and standards
  • You will assist the Support Manager with line management and mentoring of team members such as, completing 1-2-1s and performance reviews, work with the support manager to set goals and monitor and mange team members sickness and holidays
  • Substitute for the Support Manager as and when needed.
We are looking for an IT Support Team Leader with the following Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements:
  • You will have experience of leading a support team in a customer support facing role
  • Technical expertise in the following supported languages (RPG. JAVA, Delphi, Scala or React) would be beneficial.
  • You will be a problem solver and have debugging skills
