Job Description

Interim Management AccountantLarge, fast-moving service business with growing finance team seeks to strengthen by recruiting an Interim Management Accountant for 3 to 6m.Reporting to an experienced Finance Manager, you will play a key role with responsibility for analysing and controlling business costs as well as generating clear and accurate revenue forecasting.As Interim Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing regular P&Ls, reports and analysis
  • Documenting processes, suggesting and delivering system and process improvements
  • Monitoring cost variances and delivering valuable insights
  • Deliver clear and concise insight into group revenue
  • Identifying opportunities for improved financial performance
  • Communicating and interpreting financial information to business managers
  • Work closely with FP&A colleagues ensure the business meets regulatory standards
  • Ensure fast paced and accurate month end close under
  • Supporting colleagues in your team and the wider department
  • Providing input into the review and enablement of a move to a transfer pricing model
As Interim Management Accountant you’ll offer:
  • Strong experience gained in a Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant type role
  • Qualified or Part-Qualified working towards professional accounting qualifications in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
  • A progressive, proactive, ambitious and flexible approach
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Detailed and thorough - able to understand drivers behind the business
