Job Description

Housing Assistant37 hours pwTemporary on going£11.13 - £14.01phOur client are currently seeking a highly experienced Housing AssistantResponsibilities will include:

  • Provide administration support to Housing team
  • Support the development and delivery of effective and high-quality housing services to Housing customers across geography in line with related housing strategies to ensure effective sustainment of tenancies and neighbourhoods
  • Acknowledge and respond to initial contact and queries received in person, via email, telephone or social media from customers in relation to housing management, tenancy breaches or anti-social behaviour
  • Carry out home visits to customers in response to a range of housing management queries as required
  • Assist housing teams to ensure customers comply with their legal obligation to provide access for heating checks and electrical testing
  • Support the delivery of estate inspections and community walk abouts, including logging repair requests and referral of issues to partner agencies
  • Respond to customers queries regarding furniture packs, including repairs, replacements, pack adjustments and terminations, including liaising with providers and amending tenancy charges on the housing system.
The Successful person will have:
  • Experience of working in Social Housing/Housing background
