Job Description

My client is a well established full service hydraulic company, offering a range of services and products within a large variety of industries. Priding themselves on the ability to offer first class services both on site from their Hydraulic techniciansand when dealing directly with bespoke needs from client. My client is growing and are looking for a Hose Assembly Technician to join their growing team. With exciting times ahead, if you are a Hose Assembly Technician or an up and coming engineer that wantsto grow and develop into becoming an integral part of a growing business, then I want to hear from you.Hose Assembly TechnicianLocation: North East£22,000 - £24,000Competitive salary, company pension, 28 days holidays and continued support through extensive training and the opportunity to further yourself with industry recognised qualifications.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide support with stock orders in line with Management requirements.
  • Maintain and keep clean all work areas.
  • Ensure waste is stored correctly.
  • Assembly and testing of hose assemblies to the bespoke customer specifications.
  • Serving at the trade counter.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Attend all staff meetingsweekly and monthly.
  • Be aware of HSE requirements in store and on site.
  • Attend site as and when required to do so.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all safety equipment.
  • Check all goods outwards are correct before despatch.
  • Quality checks for all goods coming in.
  • Meet delivery deadlines and inform management.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
  • Be flexible and able to provide cover if required.
  • Have an interest in engineering.
  • A good basic knowledge of Hydraulics is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Physically able to assemble hydraulic hoses using machinery on site.
  • Good understanding of HSE.
  • A drive to progress and develop.
