As a History Teacher (Secondary), you will have the opportunity tomake history come alive and inspire the next generation of historians.Key Responsibilities: As a History Teacher (Secondary), your responsibilities will include:

  1. Planning and delivering dynamic and engaging history lessons that align with the curriculum.
  2. Encouraging students to explore historical events, figures, and themes with curiosity and critical thinking.
  3. Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their historical knowledge and analytical skills.
  4. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes historical inquiry and discussion.
  5. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us)
  • A full checkable work history
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in History or a related field.
  • A passion for history and a creative approach to teaching the subject.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students to appreciate the importance of history.
