Job Description

Youll be part of a regional team of trainers helping and mentoring employees in the Health & Social Care sector within Newcastle/Durham area who are working towards completion of their apprenticeship programme. Whether you have experience in staff developmentor not, you will be provided with a full time permanent job, full training and the company will pay to put you through your teaching and assessing qualifications if not already qualified!Main duties:

  • Enrolling learners onto government funded apprenticeship programmes
  • Training, assessment, progression and completion of learners as per the Awarding Body. This will be delivered through face to face or online training activity.
  • Effectively diary managing to ensure all learners within your caseload are fully supported
  • Working to targets and KPIs
  • Maintaining and recording all learner progression and evidence using various software
  • Gaining feedback from employers and customers
We are looking for candidates with the following:
  • Experience working in Health & Social Care (Care homes, domiciliary care, residential care) to a supervisory/management level
  • Qualified to minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Good Maths & English skills
  • IT literate - familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach and strong work ethic.
My client is offering:
  • Starting salary of £27,000 - £28,000 (depending on qualifications)
