Job Description

Adecco Newcastle are delighted to support our client in a search for maintenance operatives to work in a well-established business in the heart of Newcastle on a temporary assignment.The role:

  • General room maintenance
  • Keeping up to date with log books including weekly check lists
  • General joinery - checking doors and hinges
  • Re-lamping (checking and changing bulbs)
  • Checking fire doors
  • Silicone sealing
The ideal Maintenance Operative will:
  • Experience of electrical systems and a reasonable electrical competence
  • Previous experience of domestic electrical/plumbing/general maintenance
  • Have the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • Work within a team to cover reception / admin duties and gain a knowledge of the student booking system
  • Work within a team to provide cover from 08:00 hrs to 17.00 hrs / 09.00hrs to 18.00hrs Monday to Friday and 08:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs at weekends on a rotad shift basis
