Job Description

The CompanyGlobal organisation - Hybrid Working - Career Development Opportunities.Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Group Reporting Accountant to join a professional services business in Newcastle city centre. This is a perfect role for a first time mover from practice to industry. Both those that are newly qualified ACA andthose who are ACA qualified with up to 12 months PQE will be considered.The RoleThe duties for the Group Reporting Accountant role will include:

  • Detailed internal balance sheet and cashflow reporting
  • Ownership of accounting policies and procedures across the group
  • Impact assessments of future accounting standard changes
  • Statutory Accounts preparation
  • Management of the audit process for all jurisdictions
  • Responsible for compliance with the groups lending arrangements
The PersonThe requirements for the Group Reporting Accountant role are:
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant
  • Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mind-set
  • Experience of the audit process and of preparing IFRS accounts
  • Ability to communicate with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Passion for technical accounting
The BenefitsThe benefits for the Group Reporting Accountant include:
  • £45,000 to £50,000 depending date of qualification and amount of post qualified experience
