Role:Supporting a specific permanent project building web-pages and tools for tech-savvy publishers from scratch to support a niche sales process. Youll be a key part of a tight-knit team that makes the decisions and owns the development of the project. As thefirst engineer in Newcastle a pioneering spirit will be needed! Specifically, youll:
  • build out webpages and tools to control and customize tech publishers sites.
  • help solve technical challenges surrounding publishers bespoke setups to ensure our tech works seamlessly with their sites and visitors
  • communicate with tech publishers over slack to understand their needs and collaborate to build tools to improve their sites performance
Requirements:
  • 2+ years practical experience preferred but not vital - youll be the first engineer in Ezoic UK so experience is a plus; however, youll have regular contact/mentoring with the large engineering team in US so youll get great support.
  • A Bachelors Degree, or engineering bootcamp graduate is preferred
  • Strong client-side HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX skills and experience and a familiarity with cross-browser debugging
  • Experience with Node/PHP/Go to retrieve and process data
Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with Sales team, other engineering teams and publishers, to turn ideas into working applications.
  • Creating wireframes and designs that result a great user experience
  • Implementing technical challenges with bespoke site setups to ensure seamless integration with Ezoic solutions
