Job Description

Frontend Developer - 100% remote - up to £60K DOEA global SaaS organisation is currently recruiting for a Frontend Developer to join their team. This company are recognised as an industry innovator within the education sector, they are renowned for delivering essential solutions utilised worldwide.We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to help build user-facing applications used my millions of users. As a business they are looking to revamp to experience of all their users, to make it more friendly, sleek and modern.This is a high-impact role in which you will:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Engineering, Product, Quality Assurance, and Support teams
  • Implement end-to-end solutions across a suite of applications
  • Help breaking down large projects and features into independently workable/shippable milestones and stories
  • Write readable, testable, and maintainable code
  • Contribute throughout the front-end stack, developing features and reusable components for performant, accessible JavaScript applications
  • Make contributions to both the short- and long-term development of our products and team processes
Skills
  • 3+ years professional Frontend Development experience, at least 3 years working with JavaScript.
  • Strong experience with frameworks such as ReactJS or VueJS, developing scalable, performant applications.
  • HTML5, CSS3 etc.
  • Understand frontend performance
  • Familiarity with current frontend build systems (Webpack)
  • Well-versed in writing and running unit- and integration tests
  • Using Git as part of a collaborative team, including branching, pull request, and code review processes.
  • Accustomed to iterative development practices, breaking problems down, shipping small pieces rather than long-running features, etc.
