Job Description

This Legal 500 firm is looking to strengthen its Financial Claims Departments with the addition of a Fee Earner in its Newcastle office.This is a permanent role managing a caseload of pre- and post-litigated mis-sold solar claims.The successful candidate does not necessarily have to be qualified, but must have the following attributes:

  • Ability to identify potential strengths and weaknesses of mis-sold solar panel claims
  • Experience of preparing and submitting claims to lenders and FOS and ultimately the issuing of proceedings
  • Able to progress mis-sold solar panel claims from inception to settlement including litigation
  • Able to handle their own caseload of 100+ files
  • A good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules or consumer credit / financial mis-selling (both would be a distinct advantage but not essential)
  • Prior experience of the Proclaim case management system an advantage but not essential
