Job Description

Lusona has an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join our services client as Financial Controller for Change & Transformation . Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a varied role providing Finance Business Partnering and Project Accountingsupport to enterprise-wide projects and IT business teams. You will join the business at an exciting time of investment in technology, people and process.This role is all about....

  • Being the Finance Business partner for the CTO and Change Discretionary cost centres and any other allocated areas by the Head of Finance; ensuring all costs are spent within budget, deviations are recorded, and variances mitigated.
  • Partner, guiding, and counseling project management teams through the project life cycle ensuring that financial considerations are addressed throughout.
  • Understanding Project Demand and Supply views and reporting on both
  • Ensuring project forecasts are accurate and reflect the true status of the project at a level that is appropriate based on their position in the project lifecycle.
  • Developing and implementing financial controls, processes and reporting of project initiatives.
  • Understanding, interpreting, and constructively challenging current business performance and practice, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve processes and deliver business performance objectives and commitments.
  • To deputise for the Head of Finance in his absence regarding Project accounting matters.
About youYou will be a qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience in Project Accounting in a commercial environment. In addition, you will possess the following skills/experience and personal attributes:Experience/Skills:
  • Finance Business Partnering
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Interpreting and communicating Financial Performance
  • Improving processes
  • Developed stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and challenge.

Salary up to £68,000 (DOE) + Group Benefits. Our client offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home four days out of five.
