Our client has been established in the north east for many years. They design manufacture and install a variety of metal-based products across many industries including the offshore, oil & gas, renewable energy, construction, food, and pharmaceutical sectors. Due to winning new contracts they are looking to recruit an Architectural Metal Worker to join the team.You must be experienced in MIG and TIG fabricating products and metal work such as balustrades, stairways, bridges, terraces, or other architectural features. The company specialises in high end Balustrades made from materials such as stainless steel, brass, steel, wrought iron, aluminium, and glass.The role will be factory based however you will regularly be onsite carrying out install work in various UK locations, therefore some working away from home will be required. A CSCS card would be advantageous although not essential as a course can be booked to attend once the position has started. Starting rate will be £13.00-£14.00 per hour and will increase to £16.00 after a qualifying period. Long term contract to permanent. 37 hours per week
