Job Description

Events ManagerPercy Hedley Foundation£27,514 - £30,984 37 Hours per week, hybrid working (home and Jesmond/Forest Hall)Flexible working patternsCharity People are thrilled to be working with Percy Hedley; one of the North Easts largest charities, providing care, education and support to over 1,000 disabled children, young people and adults every year. They are looking for am Events Manager to jointhe team!As Events Manager, youll contribute to the overall development and delivery of The Percy Hedley Foundation Fundraising and Engagement strategy by supporting by delivering a community events plan to maximise income and engagement. This is a hugely excitingopportunity for anyone coming with sector experience, but we would also love to hear from candidates with brilliant events and relationship development experience from the commercial world!The post holder will be responsible for delivering a programme of events to support the teams fundraising and engagement plan. You will be responsible for building, developing and maintaining fundraising relationships with individuals, organisations andgroups across the North East in order to achieve ambitious income targets, raise the Foundations profile and grow engagement with the local community.If you are a passionate people person with the following experience please get in touch ASAP:

  • Demonstrable success in fundraising, or equivalent sales related role (paid or voluntary)
  • Worked as part of a team to deliver objectives
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience of successful idea generation and innovation
  • Experience of setting up and or managing activities and events
  • Experience of supporting customer journeys
