Job Description

Our Client a leading University are seeking a an experienced ERP Programme Director to lead a significant programme of work that will deliver a new ERP system, transform both people and finance processes, drive quality decision-making, and underpin a culture of financial and operational management that is fit for the future.Having recently identified Oracle as the preferred ERP cloud software provider they wish the ERP Programme Director to shape this transformational programme. You will advise on the selection of an implementation partner and lead the definition, development and progression of the overall ERP implementation including resource requirements. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the University to deliver transformational change, supported by a team of internal subject matter experts. You will also act as the key relationship manager with Oracle and the implementation partner.Essential experience will include:

  • Extensive experience working at a Programme Director level and a demonstrable track record of delivering successful transformational change.
  • Successful delivery of at least two ERP implementations one of which will ideally be a migration to Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • A thorough understanding of an ERP migration lifecycle and the key activities conducted within each stage.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and manage key objectives, lead and motivate staff and maintain alignment with the business strategy.
  • It will be highly desirable too:
  • Have experience of an ERP implementation within a higher education environment or similar complex organisation.
  • Experience of migrating from SAP ECC6.
  • Experience of implementing a Payroll system.
