Job Description

Environmental Planner - NewcastleHA 9716Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experienceAn excellent opportunity has become available for an Environmental Planner to join an established multi-disciplinary consultancy as part of their planning team in Newcastle. The successful Planner will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of largescale projects.The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years planning experience
  • Chartered status with the RTPI or will be working towards this
  • Demonstrable project management experience
  • Previous experience in the coordination of EIAs
  • An in depth knowledge of the technical aspects of EIA disciplines
  • A proven ability to write professional reports
Within the role the successful Environmental Planner will be:
  • Coordinating planning applications for a range of client projects within the renewables sector including solar, wind energy storage and hydro developments
  • Coordinating EIA projects
  • Assisting with the management of projects
  • Liaising with clients
