Job Description

Reed Construction are proud to represent an Integrated Security System business to appoint an Engineering Technician to their office in Newcastle.Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in at least ONE of these areas: Access Control, CCTV, Intruder, Power fence
  • Gallagher Security Systems (Access Control or Perimeter)
  • Ability to plan and execute tasks independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and proactive attitude
Job Duties:
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues with Electrical Fence, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarm systems
  • Setting up custom security systems
  • Performing regular maintenance on custom security systems
  • Identifying and reporting defects, snags and complaints
  • Managing inventory of Van Stock / Replenishment and Stock Taking
  • Applying critical thinking and making sound recommendations
  • Demonstrating completed systems or individual work(s) to Clients and End Users
  • Ensuring PAT and Meter Calibrations for company issued equipment
  • Completing Asset Tagging and Registration of Information
  • Using PC and IT skills for data recording and email communication
