Job Description

Bonfire Engineering Recruitment are retained by our client, a state-of-the-art product research and development organisation to recruit an Electronics Engineer for one of its European sites based in the North East, UK.Due to a sustained period of growth this unique clean energy focussed business works in partnership with a select number of UK and global organisations to design and introduce its sought after concise, modern & integrated technical products into a varietyof clean energy applications across the world.To tie in with this significant growth curve Bonfire Engineering are proud to be retained in the recruitment of an Electronics Engineer to design and develop analogue and/OR digital electronic systems.In this business all engineers are supported / encouraged in the flow of ideas and tend to enjoy the development process of modern products in a fun (non-micro-management) environment whilst having the financial support to bring new products through manufactureand successful commercial fruition.Responsibilities will include:

  • Design & develop electronic design specifications for analogue and digital electronic systems.
  • Produce DFMEA and risk assessments and test accordingly.
  • Coordination of external type approval testing.
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to capture and implement requirements
  • Conduct failure investigations and root cause analysis.
Preferred Candidate is expected to meet at least 3 of the following criteria:
  • Degree qualified in electronic engineering or mechatronics
  • Have at least 5 years demonstrable working experience in an electronics design environment
  • Experience with PCB and schematic designs using a software package
  • Have an interest in technology / modernisation
  • Microprocessor and SMPS design experience
