Job Description

100% Renewable Energy without LimitsWith an extremely competitive salary on offer, remote, hybrid and flexible working this is a rare opportunity for the North East (this would be expensed from your place of work). You will be expected to travel to sites in the North East so you must be withina relatively commutable distance.We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing business who design and implements the commercial use of zero-emission fuels, through the provision of innovative technology and commercial solutions, to decarbonise our global economy, with aparticular interest in developing fuel cell, green hydrogen production and hydrogen carrier technologies and methods.You will have the chance to work hands-on with the design, development, testing and analysis of the mechanical design and electrical control systems.With experience in providing zero-emissions power to a wide range of industries from construction to film and TV production to outdoor events, this truly is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about harnessing hydrogen technology.Skills required of an Electrical R&D Engineer

  • You must be Degree Qualified within Engineering or Physics (ideally with a 1st class)
  • You will have a strong electrical background
  • You will have completed a PHD or Masters qualification with a strong theoretical background and equally hands-on experience as this role will give you a 50/50 split
  • We are looking to speak to candidates who are excited by the opportunity to develop and design processes, structures and systems and help support the introduction of these into the business.
  • Ideally a passion for renewable energy, renewable and green hydrogen technologies
  • Ability to self-lead R&D work with a strong track record of driving own R&D projects previously
