Electrical Controls and Project EngineerDaysTyne and Wear£40-60kI am proud to be retained by a prominent Engineering Consultancy in their search for an Electrical Controls and Project Engineer. As an Electrical Controls and Project Engineer, you will be involved with some key and critical design projects for large scale, critical and innovate projects across the region and beyond across various industry sectors.You will have demonstratable experience within Controls Design and experience working on Automation, Robotics and Bespoke Design Projects for niche and special purpose kit and machinery. From Automotive to Pharmaceutical, Food to FMCG, this is a multi-sector role where these projects are currently in very high demand with some very large projects currently ongoing and others ready to go!This is a brand-new role, created due to expansion and growth and will complement the existing Electrical Project team and wider Design department. They want the right person on board who wants a long-term opportunity to grow and develop into the position, be part of their journey and grow with the company.You will be responsible for some highly critical work on the Automated Lines, PLC and Control Systems. This includes:·Robotics·PLC Control Systems·Automated Lines and Conveyor Systems·Automation ImplementationCandidates must have extensive experience in an Electrical Design role. A degree is desirable but not essential. However, competence is expected with the standard design suites and packages such as AutoCAD and Industrial Networking. A short test and potentially a work trial could be involved in the initial interview stages of this position to ensure competence.EplanP8 experience is essential in this role and only candidates with this could submit for the higher salary levels.
