Working on some of our most ambitious business programmes and projects. In this job, youll find innovative solutions to the challenges that face our business over the coming months and yearsahead!Youll work in a small (but perfectly formed) team of IS Architects for Tom, our Head of IS Architecture.Hes a family man withterrible taste in both music and film! He comes from a commercial background and brings a wealth of knowledge and experiencetoHome Group.Tom is responsible forleading the team, andbyhis side... we know youll move mountains!Technically, it would be great if you had the right certificates, but we appreciate that you might have brilliant transferable skills, and the desire to work towards getting certified on the job. Perhaps you are currently a developer with a passion for designKey to us are your experience and passions! Amongst some of the skills we are looking for are experience designing and developing solutions in; Microsoft Azure inc. AKS, or comparable platform, micro service design, React, Node.js, .Net, SQL server and RESTAPI design.We are glad to support and invest in your professional development as our Digital Solution Architect and will support you to achieve TOGAF 9 certification, as well as other relevant qualifications.Flexible Job Work is a thing you do, not a place you go. We have no preference as to your location, home and work base. We are a national organisation with a head office in the North East, if you live further away from us thats not an issue. From time to time (maximum3 times a year), we will expect you to join the rest of the team in the office in Newcastle upon Tyne for key events. We dont anticipate this extent of travel to increase in anyway, and well cover the expense of your travel and accommodation.Its the teams unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your childs school play, your partners graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take thetime off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours.
