Job Description

DevOps EngineerGrowing Newcastle tech company of approaching 50 staff requires Junior DevOps Engineer as part of its ongoing and future plans.Reporting to the CTO/CEO, your main responsibilities as DevOps Engineer will include:

  • Design, build, maintain and modify software delivery infrastructure systems and processes
  • Improve the success of projects by contributing to the continual development of internal development processes
  • Shape and take shared ownership of the ongoing DevOps journey
  • Data conversion
  • New product development
  • SQL database implementation
  • Web Development
As DevOps Engineer, youll need:
  • Previous experience in a similar DevOps Engineer role with an Agile, DevOps approach
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration and articulate technical problems, including with non-technical stakeholders
  • Curious, intuitive and a logical mindset for problem solving
  • Advantageous skills/knowledge: cloud certification on either AWS, Azure or Google, Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Delphi, Python, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Linux, Windows, Docker & Kubernetes
Benefits and rewards:
