Design Engineer (Renewables)Sunderland£34,000 - £41,000 (DOE) + Progression Opportunities + Annual Salary Reviews+ Pension + HolidaysAre you a Design Engineer who is looking to either grow or reinforce their career in the booming Renewable Energy industry, with a rapidly expanding business that is tied to a number of successful green projectsThis company specializes in surveying and providing a variety of renewable energy solutions ranging from Solar PV & battery storage systems to air and ground source heat pumps. As the organisation is experiencing rapid growth, they are looking to expandtheir team with the addition of a Design Engineer with a commercially electric bias to specialise with or without training in Solar PV.In this role you will be responsible for the surveying and design of commercial rooftop solar, battery and EV charging systems to meet customer requirements by using AutoCAD. You will be working closely alongside the installations team to provide supportwhere needed throughout the design and installation phases of projects, as well as working with the sales and business development team to share your expertise and knowledge.The ideal candidate will possess their 18th Edition course qualification, will have practical AutoCAD experience and will have time served as an electrical Design Engineer in a commercial setting - existing Solar PV and PVSol/PVSyst experience would alsobe desirable but not essential.
