Job Description

My client within the legal sector is looking for an experienced BI / Data Analyst to accept a full-time, permanent position with great career progression opportunities.My client is based in Newcastle located in close proximity to key transport links and ample parking onsite for those who drive.With clear training, development, and progression plans / opportunities, they can offer full-funded recognised training and certification.Responsibilities:

  • You will design, develop, deploy, and maintain BI solutions
  • Build and maintain effective tools for interaction with 3rd parties.
  • Building and analysis of MI to track and monitor performance through KPI’s.
  • Working with IT and Group users on technical and development projects as required by the business and to agreed timescales
  • Assist where necessary with any training requirements and materials arising from new/amended BI/Data Project
  • Keep up to date with technical knowledge and industry developments.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.
  • Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Data or BI Analyst
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, SQL Servers, Excel, XML/JSON/Python programmes
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to think outside the box.
  • Able to work on projects alone or as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of Proclaim case management system is desirable but not essential.
  • Implementation and maintenance of BI solutions and programmes
  • Experience of Project Management and working towards tight deadlines
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Able to demonstrate strong work ethic and effective communication.
  • Problem solving initiative and a solutions-focused approach.
