Job Description

Business Unit: Technology Operations & Cyber SecuritySalary range: £42,800 - 53,500 per annumLive to inspire changeOur Team Working in Security Operations is a big deal as we play a key role in keeping Virgin Money safe. Were on an exciting journey with a big vision as we grow our team to enhance our security and cyber operations.The Cyber Security Strategy & Culture team work with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, and are responsible for ensuring the latest industry best practice on security awareness is embedded in to our programmes.As the Cyber Security Strategy & Culture Manager, you will develop and share the cyber strategy at Virgin Money and grow our security culture by executing initiatives and events which lead to great cyber security awareness and behaviours, raising awarenessof risk and its impact to our business.What youll be doing…

  • Develop and maintain a security awareness program tailored to colleague role based threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology Operations, Fraud and Financial Crime, HR, Data Protection and Security Operations, to create engaging and relevant content for security training.
  • Work with colleagues internally and with third party suppliers to design and produce compelling security awareness materials, including presentations, videos, infographics, and interactive modules.
  • Deliver security awareness training sessions for employees, covering topics such as phishing awareness, password management, data protection, social engineering, business resilience and incident reporting.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the security awareness programme; analysing these metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments to enhance the programmes impact.
  • Develop and execute on Enterprise-wide initiatives to promote a strong security culture throughout the organisation.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, security trends, and relevant regulations ensuring the security awareness program aligns with compliance requirements and industry standards.
We need you to have…
  • Proven experience designing and delivering training content, preferably in the field of Information Security.
  • Strong awareness of current cyber security threats and human based attack methods
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technology stacks, including but not limited to Office 365, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent instructional design skills with the ability to create engaging, on-brand content and interactive learning materials.
  • Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in Training and Awareness, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.
Its a bonus if you have but not essential
  • Relevant certifications in information security and training and development.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technology - Microsoft Azure, Azure Sentinel, PowerBI.
