Job Description

Central Employment is proud to be working alongside one of the market leaders within the Ed Tech industry. Due to ongoing and rapid expansion, we are looking to take on an experienced Copy Writer to work closely with the rest of the marketing teamto ensure consistent and quality campaigns across multiple channels.This role will be responsible for the content creation of copy for a variety of different channels and activities but predominantly for digital media.Playing a key role alongside the Content Marketing Manager and the wider Content team they will support new launches and marketing campaigns, crafting the copy required to ensure that they run effectively and efficiently across each stage. They will delivercopy for digital marketing activities that are planned for marketing and conversion as well as support and coordinate content marketing assets. Work will include e-mail marketing, HubSpot landing pages, web copy, blogs, paid campaign copy, and pdf brochures.This position will require daily contact with internal departments as well as their external partners, so someone who is comfortable speaking with multiple people throughout the day is vital.Key Responsibilities:

  • Create copy both from scratch or from academic course documents producing exceptional, persuasive pieces of content.
  • Write conversion copy for email marketing, automation, landing pages, paid social media, edu portals, PPC and display ads, and assist in the deployment of conversion rate optimisation tests and smart content.
  • Create the required documents that outline the key information potential vendors will need to create paid campaigns.
  • Write digital content for websites and general marketing collateral.
  • Write stories and news items for our blogging platforms on a regular basis to help us join conversations of interest to our audiences.
  • Follow the tone of voice guidelines set by each of our partner Universities and manage feedback from senior colleagues and partner stakeholders.
  • Be meticulous and work to a high standard, always looking to optimise.
  • Look to create copy that differentiates the offers across brands and courses.
Key Experience:
  • At least 2 years experience of professional copywriting in UK English including the production of copy for digital, print and events outlets.
  • Knowledge and experience of copywriting best practices across mediums.
  • Proof of past successes.
  • Experience of developing copy from conception to delivery.
  • Experience of working within a marketing environment with exposure to digital content campaign management and tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of, or an interest in Higher Education, educational content and its digital landscape.
