And you get these Red-Hot Rewards from day one!We have an exciting opportunity in our Conduct Risk Assurance Team, a team focussed on the customer. As a Conduct & Regulatory Specialist you will be responsible for undertaking reviews that provide insight, oversight, and challenge on how effective theBank is at delivering good customer outcomes and complying with both internal policy and external regulatory obligations. So, if you want to expand your experience, work with a variety of stakeholders across the bank and be part of a team that can make a difference,youve come to the right place.Heres what youll be doing:
  • Working with stakeholders across the Bank to deliver reviews that ensure the Bank delivers appropriate Customer outcomes in line with regulatory expectations while complying with Bank policies and processes.
  • Ensuring all reviews and associated tasks in which you are involved are completed to an agreed quality standard within a pre agreed timescale.
  • Being proactive in the identification and assessment of risks and issues that negatively affect our Customers and Bank compliance with regulatory expectations.
  • Ensuring effective engagement with and reporting to senior management, agreeing corrective action and verifying actions have satisfactorily addressed any issues raised.
  • Using internal and external information (e.g., Management Assurance reports, loss events data, Financial Conduct Authority enforcement actions, consultation papers, speeches) to proactively identify future issues and opportunities to improve the risk profileof Bank.
  • Keeping abreast of industry best practice developments and technical developments (where appropriate) that influence the regulatory operating environment.
  • Recommending changes to policies and procedures that increase compliance and raise standards.
  • Providing input to the annual Conduct Risk Assurance Plan, considering the regulatory horizon and upstream risks.
There are a few essentials you need to bring
  • Evidence of delivering a high standard of written and verbal communications.
  • Strong influencing skills to help ensure we achieve good customer outcomes.
  • Previous experience of successfully managing internal relationships with a proven track record of working collaboratively and effectively.
  • Proven analytical skills in reviewing information and identifying key business impacts.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Good understanding of the UK regulatory environment, including FCA Rules and industry best practice.
The following would be brilliant...but not essential
  • Experience in Compliance, Risk or Audit.
  • Knowledge of assurance methodologies and processes, specifically the use and operation of control and risk mitigation strategies.
  • An in depth understanding of the Groups Risk Management Framework
